A NOTE FOR THE HESITANT: If you’ve never tried therapy before, you might feel unsure — that’s okay.
I want you to know:
Therapy is not only for when you are in a crisis.
It’s a way to learn about yourself, strengthen your relationships, and move through life with more clarity and confidence.
It’s training for your mind, body, and spirit.
Therapy is for anyone who:
Wants to learn more about themselves.
Is struggling with symptoms of anxiety, depression, or other mental health concerns.
Desires more meaningful relationships.
Wants support in achieving personal or professional goals.
Needs a safe space to process life transitions or major events.
Just wants to talk.
Treatment Approach
“I draw from Psychodynamic, Integrative, Attachment-Based, Somatic, Mind-Body, Cognitive Behavioral, and Compassion-Focused therapies in my practice. My approach supports you in recognizing and transforming repetitive thoughts, behaviors, and relational patterns that shape your emotions and life experiences. Together, we’ll explore the connections between your mind, body, and past experiences, bringing awareness to how unprocessed emotions may be held in the body. Through this process, you’ll develop greater self-compassion, emotional regulation, and a sense of safety within yourself—creating the foundation for meaningful and lasting change.”
-
Rooted in the belief that our past experiences unconsciously shape our present behaviors and relationships, psychodynamic work helps bring awareness to these patterns so that they can shift. I help clients make meaning of their emotional lives, explore the origins of recurring struggles, and deepen self-understanding. This process invites insight, empowerment, and lasting change.
-
I take an integrative approach, drawing from various modalities such as somatic therapy, mindfulness, compassion-focused therapy, and psychodynamic principles. This allows me to tailor each session to your unique needs and readiness. Healing is not one-size-fits-all; it unfolds at the pace your mind and body can tolerate.
-
As a clinician with advanced training in Somatic Experiencing®, I help clients process trauma and chronic stress by tracking body sensations rather than relying solely on words. This helps regulate the nervous system, increase capacity for emotion, and reconnect the individual to their body as a safe and wise resource.
-
For clients dealing with trauma or chronic stress, I incorporate trauma-informed cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). This approach emphasizes safety, empowerment, and choice while helping clients identify unhelpful thought patterns and develop tools to reframe and manage distress. It provides structure and stability alongside the deeper emotional work.
-
My work is also strength-based, emphasizing your inherent wisdom, resilience, and ability to grow. I focus on identifying and amplifying what’s already working in your life while building new skills for what’s next.
-
For clients who wish to integrate spirituality into their healing, I offer spiritual life coaching—a space to explore purpose, intuition, and connection to something larger than oneself. This work supports alignment between inner values and outward choices, helping clients live with clarity and intention.
-
I integrate mindfulness-based cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to help clients cultivate present-moment awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations with compassion and curiosity rather than judgment. This approach invites clients to slow down and notice their internal experiences as they unfold—creating space between stimulus and response.
-
I provide therapy that is culturally sensitive because I recognize the impact of race, culture, identity, and lived experience on emotional health and healing. I understand that people from different backgrounds have different values, practices, and beliefs, and I am sensitive to those differences when working with individuals in therapy.
-
Grounded in attachment theory, I help clients understand how early relationships shape patterns of connection, trust, and intimacy. Together, we explore how these patterns show up in the present and work toward developing a secure, self-compassionate foundation for relating to others and oneself.m description
